Literature Text

From wise men and sages down to idlers,
From angels and saints down to murderers,
Symbols and emblems were bound together,
To form rich lines that will stay forever.

Heartstrings that entwine, pulsating as one.
Tied too deep and tight, no man can define.
Speaking in tongues, yet we all understand.

Flowing from the spring, it tastes bitter-sweet.
A poisonous drop, lovely Venus fell.
Gathering lost companions to a fleet,
To wreck lives of men - a story to tell.

Riddles and puzzles revealed into man.
A temporary plight, yet so divine.
Engraved profoundly in everyone's hands.
